Lilo Bio Please ensure you understand and can meet the needs of this dog before applying. ● Energy level: high ● Potty trained: yes ● Fenced yard: preferred but not required ● Shared walls: barks ● People: all (may need warming up) ● Dogs: yes (with notes) Overview Meet Lilo, a sweet brown pup looking for a loving home to call his own. At 8 years old and 16 lbs, Lilo came to Little Paws when his previous owner developed an allergy, and now he's ready to find his perfect match. Lilo is smart and knows commands such as “sit”, “go”, “stay” and “down”. He loves to go on walks and does great on a harness and leash. Environment Lilo is an energetic boy who loves his daily walks and playtime. He's fully potty trained and doesn't require a crate, but is learning an x-pen is a calm, safe space to relax in. While he'd enjoy having a yard to play in, it's not a must-have for him as he is great on the leash. Lilo loves to sing the song of his people and would be best placed in a home without shared walls. He also exhibits signs of separation anxiety. Lilo is a jumper and will need ramps in his home. Pets & People Lilo is a social butterfly who does well with people, though he sometimes needs a little time to warm up to new faces. He's good with other dogs but will let them know if they're being too rowdy! One note: he can be protective of his food and treats around other dogs, so he'll need proper space during mealtimes. Lilo is a Velcro dog and needs a human to bond with and be close to often. He also wants to sleep in the human bed. Health & Transportation Lilo is healthy and is a great car passenger, though he might whimper a little during rides. He can be left alone for short periods and is happiest when he has human companionship. Lilo eats a prescription diet of Hydrolyzed Protein from Royal Canine. Location Lilo is available for adoption from Miami, Florida. For questions and inquiries outside Florida about Lilo, please contact at [email protected] The adoption fee for Lilo is $325.00.
