King may be shy, but beneath his reserved nature lies a heart full of love. Weighing around 110 pounds, this sweet cuddle bug is looking for a home where he can continue to grow and feel safe. When King first arrived, he was overwhelmed—his whole life had been spent with just his owner, and the shelter was a big, scary change.Thanks to the patience and care of our staff, King has made incredible progress. At first, he only went outside for potty breaks (yes, this boy is fully housetrained!), but now he enjoys walks and even the occasional run around our facility. Every day, we see him grow into the strong, brave King he was meant to be.Despite his progress, shelter life is still stressful for King. He needs a home with no other animals and patient, loving people who will continue to help him build confidence. Just because he came to us at 8 years old, scared and unsure, doesn’t mean his story is over—King still has so much love to give and a bright future ahead.
