DISCLOSURE: The adoptable pets in our program are still in the care and custody of owners who wish to re-home their pet. Owners have enlisted Rescue Well to provide marketing and screening of applicants as a service, free of charge. All fees and adoption conditions are determined by the owner. We advise that adopters do not send payment or deposits for pets prior to adopting. ***** Buddy is a 2yo, 45lb, intact border collie who is up to date on his vaccines but is not microchipped. He knows how to sit and go to his kennel on command; he dislikes/fears 'abandonment'; he's kept outside during the day and sleeps in his kennel at night; he's good during car rides. Buddy's guardian explains why he has made the difficult decision to rehome him: "Son is allergic." Buddy's guardian states the following regarding children: Since Buddy lives with a 6-month-old child, his guardian recommends his living with children, stating "Playful and clingy". Buddy's guardian states the following regarding dogs: Buddy has lived with a dog, so his guardian recommends his living with dogs, stating "Good except males because he's territorial". Buddy's guardian states the following regarding cats: Although Buddy hasn't lived with or otherwise been around cats, his guardian recommends his living with cats. Buddy's guardian describes him as: Very active Playful Friendly Affectionate Always at your side Crate-Trained Buddy's guardian describes his ideal future home: "A home with children with a fenced backyard."
