Nicky is a love bug. He loves everyone he meets. He enjoys going for a walk then coming home to snuggle up with his human and get belly rubs. If you want a dog who always wants to be near you, Nicky is a great choice. He will happily sleep at your feet while you work or watch TV. He is super smart and knows sit, wait, and let's go. He learns quickly and wants to please - always looking to his handler for guidance and reassurance. He is looking for his special human(s) to love forever - could you be that person? Nicky is a mixed breed, probably with some Shepherd. At almost two years he is a young adult with a calm energy - past the crazy puppy stage. He is medium sized at 50 pounds, easy to walk and handle, and fully housetrained. He likes his walks but is very happy to hang around the house, play fetch in the back yard, and take lots of naps. He can entertain himself well - he loves toys and will play by quite independently. He is great in the crate - goes in with a little bribe of a treat, relaxes and goes to sleep. At his foster's he sleeps in the crate all night with no trouble. He likes dogs when properly introduced and enjoys playing with his foster sibling. While he enjoys having a doggie friend we think he would be fine as an only dog.Nicky would make a great addition to any home.
