Male Dog, Pit Bull Terrier

Pit Bull Terrier (Short Coat)

Description:

BANDIT (watch my video!) Male, neutered 2 years old Pit bull terrier 60 lbs. Microchipped, up-to-date on core vaccines and takes monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention Bandit, formerly Malik at the PG shelter, was found as a stray, underweight and with an upper respiratory infection. He began his first 2 weeks at the shelter in isolation and on antibiotics and immediately went on their 3/11 Urgent List due to no space. Fortunately, he passed his food and dog test and was able to be rescued by Lovepaws -- with a few hours to spare! He has been eager to please ever since. This beautiful boy is learning his basic commands like sit, down, stay and his release word “okay”. Bandit is food motivated but will drop everything for some scritches. He LOVES snuggles, head and neck rubs. He also loves giving kisses. Bandit is a smart boy and is shaping up to have a huge vocabulary! Bandit has the best sploot and really loves always being around his hoomans. He loves toys that squeak and loves working on enrichment puzzles and kongs. Bandit has spurts of energy but is also happy watching tv and snuggling on the couch. He has adorable antics with a full-size basketball that will brighten your day and his curiosity, with full head tilts is just as adorable! Bandit loves to play and go on walks and is working on his leash manners as well. He is currently a 7/10, which is fantastic! Bandit's youthful exuberance is infectious, and he has a lot to offer to those willing to invest time in him. His loyalty and love are boundless and he's waiting to share them with a forever family. Bandit's adoption could be the start of a beautiful friendship for you, filled with shared experiences and mutual growth. Don't miss the chance to welcome this unique, loving soul into your life. Bandit was not given a proper decompression and slow introductions to the resident dog in his first foster home, which resulted in some resource guarding. He is currently decompressing in a new foster home and is proving to be a family pleaser. We will be able to share more information about him as he settles in. Interested in adopting?
