Description:
OPHELIA Female, spayed 3 years old Pit bull terrier 62 lbs. Microchipped, up-to-date on core vaccines and takes monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention Follow Ophelia on Instagram at #lovepaws_ophelia Whoever ends up with this certified good girl should buy some lotto tickets, because you're a lucky one! Ophelia was rescued from the PG County urgent list after being found as a stray and it's crazy to think no one ever came to the shelter to claim her. Ophelia is SUCH a sweetheart with a gentle soul. She is potty trained (she even listens to the command "go potty") and crate trained. In her foster home, she sleeps in her crate and doesn't make a peep until we let her out in the morning - as soon as we open the crate door, she greets us with kisses and the cutest booty wiggles! In the day time, she spends several hours in her crate and is happy to rest and relax there. She has a helicopter tail! You better make sure you don't set your wine glass on the coffee table because it might just go flying. She is a SUPER fast eater and will definitely benefit from a complicated slow feeder bowl, snuffle mat or puzzles for her meals. Ophelia is super sweet and playful. She love's plush squeaky toys the most so far and also loves tearing into the stuffed chicken. She loves to play with her canine foster brother and sister. She can play a little rough, which works for her foster siblings, but may not work for every home. She would do best with other dogs who can give her corrections. Ophelia would also be happy as the only dog in your home where she can steal all the attention! She does this very silly thing when playing fetch where when she runs back to you, she doesn't stop and she just barrels straight into you then PLOPS hard to the ground. Once you grab the ball, she hops right back up and is ready to go! Ophelia also has velvety soft fur that is almost all silver except for her belly and her paws - it looks like she's wearing cute little socks and mittens! Ophelia is ready for a forever home where she can receive the love and loyalty that she so freely gives! Could you be the one?! Interested in adopting? Of course you are! Submit an application here!
