All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.If you love senior dogs, and have learned how the years polish an older dog into a beautiful, loving , soft, wise bundle, you will know instantly why you might want to adopt our Nala. This sweet, sweet mama to Peanut and Mackie (also listed on our site here) has been raised and cared for with great love and kindness, but suddenly she has been uprooted from her lifelong home and scheduled to be killed for no reason other than her family was broken and she had nowhere to go. Rescue stepped in at the last moment and we are so happy we did. She is perfectly housebroken, up to date on all her shots, loves other dogs, cats, has shown herself to be fine with children. In short, she is the whole package of a great dog! The part about loving other dogs? She was living with her children, Mackie, Peanut, and friend Kyler when her world crashed. They all loved each other and did perfectly together. If you were thinking of getting a pair of dogs (or more?), here they are, ready made and easy to love.
