All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.NOTE- YAVIS IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR AN INDIVIDUAL ASKING TO REHOME THEIR DOG. PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW.From his caretaker: "His name is Yavis. He is about 4 or 5 years old. An English Pointer Hound we think. Very affectionate and smart, loves to cuddle. Has some separation anxiety. He is good with kids, very tolerant of them. Cats he is good with once you go through the introduction process, he got on well enough with our elderly cat. He has some food and toys protectiveness, particularly with other animals. I would recommend a fenced-in yard since he is used to one.
