His favorite things include full-body hugs, squeaky toys, and deer antlers. He is looking for a home who is excited to continue his training and can shower him with lots of love.Rusty is a medium-energy pup, where he loves to play with other pups but is more than happy to cuddle on the couch with you for the evening. He does best with pups who are similar in energy. Because Rusty enthusiastically greets humans, big and small, alike, he would do best with dog-savvy kids who can ask for space and time to get to know him.He is fully crate-trained and house-trained. Rusty is crated throughout the workday and knows he receives his meals in there. He is crated overnight in there without any issues. Rusty is great about alerting when he needs to go outside to potty. He walks well on leash and enjoys his daily walks around the neighborhood.Rusty has so much love to give and will be ever so grateful to call your family home- are you the one for him?NOTE: Rusty is part of our Foster to Adopt program. He has a few food sensitivities and is therefore on a specially prescribed diet for food.
