MEET BELLE!*I need to go home to a confident, social dog!*Do not be fooled, this is not a fuzzy paint roller, meet Belle! She rolls around everywhere she goes, in and out of her crate, doorways, into her senior and large foster sibling (to then just lay there with him) or just at your feet for a belly rub which she loooooves. You never know what end is what with her bombing around everywhere. Whether she is outside or inside, she pretends she is in deep grass by getting as low as she can to the ground/floor and then waits for her sibling or foster-siblings to walk by thinking they cannot see her, then she will pounce. Belle loves being outside to take advantage of the space and fresh air along with some good old leaf chasing. After she eats, she will put her front paws on you because she wants to thank you by laying in your lap and receiving lots of love. It is totally worth mentioning that no matter what Belle is doing, if you pick her up and put her in your lap she will settle right in because she is a HUGE snuggle bug. She loves it and will roll into you or onto her back for a nice belly rub. Belle definitely wants to go potty outside and will wait for you plus she is a super smart cookie and was already learning how to sit for a treat. It will be important for her new family to continue her socialization and work on positive reinforcement training to help her build confidence and learn all of her basics. We think she will benefit from having a calm, confident dog in the home that can show her the ropes, and a home in a lower traffic area where she can feel confident to walk and explore!Belle is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team.For more information on Bambi or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170.
