Description:
MEET BETSY!*I need to go home to a confident, social dog!*Patience is key with this girl, and her foster describes her as a total sweetie-pie once she warms up. She enjoys smelling your face after eating to say thanks, giving kisses or licking your forearm as you rub her chin and cheeks. Betsy enjoys playing with a toy while laying right next to you or stretching out and rolling over for a good belly rub. Playing tug with you, her sibling, her older, much bigger foster-sibling or all of the above is always a good time besides just romping around and wrestling with everyone. Betsy cannot quell her curiosity when it comes to going outside, she loves to just sit and take it all in or smell everything when on a walk. She especially loves playing/hiding with you or her sibling under a light blanket. She was crate trained in foster and making big strides with potty training. It will be important for her new family to continue her socialization and work on positive reinforcement training to help her build confidence and learn all of her basics. We think she will benefit from having a calm, confident dog in the home that can show her the ropes, and a home in a lower traffic area where she can feel confident to walk and explore!Betsy is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Bambi or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.
