MEET FRANKIE!Hi, I'm Frankie! I am an 11 month old Arubian Cunucu mix, which is part of the hound group if you are unfamiliar with my breed. I am approximately 45 pounds - known to be intelligent, loyal, and athletic. I am also described as friendly, courageous, and I would make a great family dog! The folks here at the Animal Rescue League - Brewster Branch would agree with all of those descriptions. We've had some fun here together - I've met a ton of new people and love them very much especially when they spend time with me playing with toys or snuggling. They take me for long walks as I learn to adjust to being on a leash and I have been getting lots of playtime with the other dogs here - which I really, really enjoy! In my previous home I lived with children and I enjoyed their company. I am not a fan of living in the city - I tried it and it was too much for me. I would much prefer living in a quieter, more rural environment. If you have a fenced yard that would be a bonus but I wouldn't require it. Oh, and did I mention I really enjoy the company of other dogs too? If you have a dog at home that could use an easy going and fun playmate I might be the girl for you! I am a fairly petite, all around fun dog looking for a home that will continue my basic training like learning to be more comfortable on leash and learning the basics so I have a good foundation of polite behaviors. Come on my our Brewster Branch to meet me - I am excited to get on with the next adventure in my life!
