MEET BETTY! - I am in a foster home, please contact the shelter to learn more! Betty is a smooshable bully mix the staff lovingly refers to as `Betty Boop`. This sweetheart is known for her signature `zoomie and sploot` technique when she finds a good toy. She has also been known to use her foster as a chair, even though she's a bit bigger than the average lap dog! Betty was found as a stray, but based on her medical examination, it is likely that she has whelpped multiple litters of puppies. Everything in this big world seems new to her, and she is looking for an adopter who will guide her with patience and compassion, and let her know she is safe and loved. We think she would do best in a low traffic environment with teens and adults only, and may be able to live with other pets with a slow introduction. If you are looking for a velvety house hippo who loves to play and snuggle, she is your girl!Betty is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team.For more information on Betty or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170.
