Meet Goblin, the happiest little Shih Tzu mix around! At just over a year old and weighing in at 14 pounds, Goblin is the perfect size for both cuddles and adventures. This joyful guy adores other dogs, loves playing with his toys, and is always ready to spread some cheer. Goblin is kennel trained, easygoing, and never one to fuss over food or toys—he’s even been known to let other pups share his bowl!Goblin is great with everyone he meets, both two-legged and four-legged. He rides well in the car, making him a wonderful companion for outings and adventures. His friendly, playful nature and gentle disposition make him an all-around fantastic pup. All breeds listed are educated best estimates by transferring shelter staff, our volunteers or our vets. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them the All American MUTT. Our dogs are rescued from various situations (kill-shelters, owner surrenders, strays, etc). It is most likely that both their parents were strays and mixes of some sort.If you are interested in this dog, you MUST submit an application. Sandy Paws Rescue does not a have a public shelter in Mass, so there is no building you can visit without an appointment. Our dogs live in private foster homes or boarding kennels down south until adopted, or in some cases in our very small private kennel facility on Martha's Vineyard and foster care homes through out MV, Cape Cod and other parts of MA. A large majority of our dogs are adopted/spoken for prior to transport and release from state mandated isolation.
