Macha: Looking for Her Forever Duet Macha has been waiting patiently in the wings for years, hoping someone will finally hear her song. This 7–8 year old low-rider sweetheart came to us from Mexico and has been quietly dreaming of her big break—a forever home to call her own. At 44 pounds (okay, maybe a few pounds over her ideal weight), Macha wouldn’t mind finding a fellow golden girl or guy to start a gentle new routine with—walks, fresh air, belly rubs, and maybe a few squeaky toys for good measure. She’s the kind of dog who speaks with her eyes, and you’ll never wonder how she’s feeling… because she’ll be right there beside you, leaning in for love. She’s fantastic with people of all ages, including kids, and gets along well with other dogs, and is scared of kitties so she respects their space. She walks beautifully on leash and lives for attention, cuddles, and cozy companionship. Not yet cat-tested, but she’s been a lovely, easy presence everywhere else. Macha has been waiting so long.
