Dasher is a happy, outgoing dog who enjoys human attention and does not hesitate to let you know. He is very vocal in the kennels and may continue being vocal once he is settled into his new home, which could be an issue for apartment living. Dasher is a friendly furry wiggle ball, looking for a place that think's he great just the way he is.OTHER PETS: Dasher did well meeting other dogs, he was appropriately social and would likely do well with most other dogs; as with all our dogs Dasher should meet any dog he would be living with prior to adoption. Likely (Must Meet First) OWNER EXPERIENCE: First Dog KIDS: Dasher is a friendly, playful pup who will likely get along with most humans; due to his jumpiness Dasher's best fit would be with school age humans or older. 7+ (Must Meet First)ACTIVITY LEVEL: Dasher would do well with daily walks to ensure he gets to exercise his legs and his nose while he explores his neighborhood, and will benefit from plenty of mental enrichment. He engages more with toys when humans are there to engage with him, but that may change once he settles into his new diggs. Good Walking Buddy VETERINARY CARE: Routine LEVEL OF TRAINING NEEDED: Positive reinforcement training will help Dasher bond with his new owner as well as help him learn important skills. Further positive reinforcement training would keep him engaged in the learning process as well as providing him the opportunity to participate in dog sports or go on adventures with his humans. Minimal GROOMING: Regular brushing will keep Dasher's coat clean and matt-free in between groomings, he should be groomed every 6-8 weeks. Professional Grooming
