Description:
Meet Burt! Burt is a lovable senior pup with a gentle spirit and a heart full of love. At 10 years old, he may be in his golden years, but he still has plenty of affection and companionship to offer. Burt enjoys the simple pleasures in life—leisurely strolls in the park, cozy naps in the sun, and snuggling up with his favorite humans. With his calm and easygoing nature, Burt would thrive in a relaxed home where he can enjoy his days surrounded by love and warmth. While he may not be as energetic as he once was, he makes up for it with a lifetime of wisdom and loyalty. Burt is looking for a forever family that will cherish his sweet, mellow personality and give him the loving retirement he deserves. If you're ready to welcome a loyal friend into your heart, Burt might just be the perfect companion for you! Adopt Burt and make his golden years truly special! We do not have a facility for you to visit. You are welcome to email [email protected] with specific questions, but please complete the online application, which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support.
