Athena’s past may have been tough, as she was found as a stray, and it’s possible she was hit by a car before she was rescued. But through it all, Athena has shown incredible strength and resilience. After a period of rest and healing, she’s now ready to start a new chapter and find the loving home she truly deserves.Although Athena is still a little shy and takes her time adjusting to new situations, she’s a sweet and loving girl at heart. She’s learning the ropes of life and would greatly benefit from some basic training and socialization to build her confidence. With a little patience, Athena will soon open up and become the loyal and affectionate companion she was always meant to be.Athena will thrive in a calm, quiet household where she feels safe and secure. Given her shy nature, we recommend a home with children aged 16 and up, who will be gentle and respectful of her space as she adjusts.
