This beautiful sable-colored German Shepherd is Jasmine.Jasmine weighs just over 60 pounds and is full-grown, but could definitely stand to put a little more meat on her bones. She recently discovered Beggin' Strips treats and sits nicely to receive them.Jasmine was found locally and was turned in to Clinton Township PD where she was then turned over to Animal Control to receive the care she needs.Jasmine has tested positive for Heartworm and will need to go to a special home who not only has in-depth knowledge of her breed, but a a dedication to her treatment consisting of 30 days of antibiotics, injections of medication two days back-to-back, followed by another 30 days of steroid pills to finish the treatment. Heartworm can do serious damage to a dog's system, so it is imperative you consider this when looking to adopt this precious girl. Jasmine is up to date on all vaccines and will be spayed under the care of Macomb County Animal Control to be scheduled once her treatment is complete. She needs a little time to warm up to someone new, but could be a terrific addition into your loving home.If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $200
