Hi there, I’m Walter! I’m a sweet and sensitive dog who loves to play. I’ve got a lot of energy and will need an experienced owner who can keep up with me and help me learn new things. I’m super friendly and will sit for a treat and take it nicely, but I still need some training to be my best self.I absolutely love playing with other dogs, especially those who can handle my high-energy, “in-your-face” play style. I would be best in a home with older children. I need a doggy friend who can match my playfulness and excitement!However, I do have a few things you should know: I’ve got a high prey drive and am very curious about cats, so I would be best in a home without them. Additionally, I’m a little adventurous and have been known to climb 6-foot fences, so I’ll need a secure yard to keep me safe.If you’re an experienced dog owner and ready to give me the training and attention I deserve, I’ll be your loyal, loving companion.If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $100!
