Description:
Meet Dancer! Dancer was born into the rescue on December 16, 2024, alongside her siblings (Dasher, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, and Cupid). A DNA test revealed that their mom is primarily Pit and Pointer, with some Boerboel and Lab mixed in. We don’t know who dad was, but we anticipate this litter will be large breed. Based on her littermates, we suspect there may be some Boxer in the mix—just a guess, though! Dancer is on the smaller side compared to her siblings, and we estimate she’ll be around 60 pounds as an adult. Dancer currently knows how to sit and is working on potty training. She’s smart and high-energy, likely drawing from the Pointer in her mom! She can be timid in new environments and around large dogs, so continued socialization with positive reinforcement will be key to helping her grow into a confident adult. Once she warms up, she’s a wild child—sprinting around trying to keep up with the big dogs in the house. She also loves to cuddle with both her people and her dog friends. She isn’t a fan of the cold and prefers to wear a sweater unless it’s above 60 degrees (her foster mom and she are one and the same in that regard). As a general best practice, we prefer opposite-gender dogs in her forever household and plans to continue training due to her breed mix and estimated large adult size. Dancer has been dewormed and has received all of her age-appropriate vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting/adopting Prancer, please apple and we will be in touch! All animal breeds and ages are a best estimate
