Female Dog, Belgian Shepherd Malinois
Belgian Shepherd Malinois / German Shepherd Dog / Mixed
Description:
Salem is a happy, energetic one year old BM/GSD mix who is brand new to MAD as of mid-December. Eager and friendly, this girl just loves affection. Her favorite place to sit is on her foster mom's lap so she can cuddle up! Salem is great with her foster's children and their dog is her best bud - they have a great time running zoomies around the yard!Salem is food motivated - she responds to "sit" readily in exchange for a treat. She and her foster mom are working on obedience and leash training, and her love of treats is a great help. Love to play fetch with a dog? Salem is all in - she absolutely loves playing fetch with a ball as well as playing with stuffed animals, so plenty of toy drive as well!Salem is still a youngster, and will sometimes bark at a person if she is nervous, but responds to redirection and has zero agression. She is a crate escape artist, so a wire crate is not recommended. Now that she has a new escape proof crate she settles down well and relaxes. Salem has a good nose and would really enjoy some scent training.Salem is a delightful pup who is delights in playing with other dogs and has decided that the best place to sleep is cuddled next to her foster mom. Salem will be a wonderful family dog.All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and 6 month paid subscription.
