Male Dog, Husky
Husky (Medium Coat)
Description:
Bram arrived at the shelter on Sept. 29th, after he went unclaimed at the city pound. He's a happy and energetic husky type with icy blue eyes. He's friendly and ready for action at all times. He's also very loving. His size is in the medium range and he's most likely 1 to 2 years old. He has been vet checked, neutered, and chipped. His fee is $150. We're hoping to find Bram a home that has some experience with husky types. They are notorious clowns who love to run! Bram might require some basic obedience training and a lot of regular exercise to keep him settled. He loves to play and be with people. He will also require regular grooming to keep his coat clean and free from matting. We think he would do okay with other dogs. Cats? We have no way of knowing. Older kids would be best. NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application as been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. Keep an eye on your emails if you apply. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
