Male Dog, Border Collie

Border Collie / Cattle Dog / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Linden came to the shelter as a surrender from an Amish farm in the area. He's 3 to 4 months old and is said to be a border collie/cattle dog mix. He's a stocky pup who is a little shy right now but doesn't mind being held and cuddled. He will need some good socialization and training. We will need to get him vet checked and neutered soon and his fee is $150. Linden is a mixture of two really smart and active breeds. He needs a home that is ready, willing, and able to give him the training and both the physical and mental stimulation that he will require. He should do okay with other dogs and is young enough to learn to interact well with cats. Kids over 5 would be best. He has a lot of potential! NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. Keep an eye on your emails if you apply. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
