Male Dog, American Pit Bull Terrier
American Pit Bull Terrier / Dogue De Bordeaux / Mixed (Short Coat)
Description:
Todd is a large, happy, and beefy pit bull type mix who came to us on 12/3/2023. He was found stray in a rural area, held for the legal hold time, and no one claimed him. He is about 3 years old and we are guessing he could be mixed with mastiff and/or bulldog. He has been vet checked and neutered and his fee is $150. Todd is strong and has shown a little bit of dog reactivity at the shelter. This is not unusual as it's a pretty rowdy environment. He has calmed down a bit since his initial arrival. We do think he would do best as the only pet in the home. He could potentially do okay with a nice female dog. He loves people but does need a strong owner who can handle his strength and keep up with his energy level. He does appear to have had some basic training. No small kids for this bulldozer. This is due to his size and strength, not his personality!
