Meet Scarlett, a 9 month old Malamute. Scarlett is a sweet, submissive, and very snuggly girl. We think she will be a wooly again when her freshly groomed hair grows back. She is very well behaved, has pretty good recall, is potty trained and is very smart. She very easily made friends with our 5 Northern Breeds and had a playdate with 4 additional Huskies on day 2 of being with her foster family. She loves squeaky toys but really loves people the most. She is a very gentle nibbler - she nibbles in your hands to remind you she needs more pets. She rides well in a car. She is a very smart girl and still learning how to use a doggie door. While Scarlett does counter surf a bit now, is learning to stay on the ground. She is also still working on not pulling while on a leash. Will you be her forever family? Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, dental, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $550.00
