Male Dog, Beagle
Beagle / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (Short Coat)
Description:
Rambler is a Beagle/Lab/Terrier mix (we are guessing!) Who is oh so sweet and good natured. Rambler came to us from a background of hardship. We don't know the full story but was told part of one of his ears was shot off? Was he a stray in a rural area and was shot at? We are not sure, but he came to rescue pretty meek and frightened of humans. He also came to rescue with heartworm. He was successfully treated for that and has been diligently kept on Heartguard (Tri Heart Plus) since then. He also has made HUGE progress since being in rescue. He is now more trusting and happy and open. He is crate trained, potty trained, walks well on a leash and loves to be with other dogs. We are looking for a home for him with another dog (it helps his confidence) and a fenced in yard. Rambler is one of those "heart dogs" that just get to you as you watch them embrace the kind of life they were meant to live. Interested in adopting?
