Female Dog, Lhasa Apso
Lhasa Apso / Mixed
Description:
Meet Betsy, a 5 1/2-year-old Lhasa mix with a heart as big as her story. Found wandering the city streets for a week, no one came forward to claim her despite efforts to find her owner. Now, Betsy is thriving in her foster home and showing just how much love she has to give. Betsy has blossomed into a fun-loving companion who adores other dogs that are of her size, though she’s not a fan of cats. She’s catching on to potty training, loves lounging on her comfy doggie bed, and is fully kennel-trained at night. During the day, however, she prefers to keep her favorite humans in sight, so a home without shared walls would be best for her. We think she would do better with older children as her previous foster home had a toddler that Betsy liked to do the humpty hump on which is probably more of an anxious behavior. But let's just play it safe. The current foster home has teenagers and she loves them! This sweet girl just had her teeth done and is ready to show you her pretty smile! Betsy is ready to melt your heart—could you be her forever family?Interested in adopting this lovable animal? Please go to our website www.wagsmn.org and fill out an Adoption Application.
