New to DRM, stay tuned for more info!!New to Doberman Rescue Minnesota. Stay tuned for more information! Bugsy our bouncy 1 year old boy came to DRM, not really knowing how to be a dog. Tennis balls were scary, he wouldn't drink from a bowl, and what was a bone? He was down on his luck, needed a peaceful place to put on a little weight and slowly learned that he was safe and capable of receiving and giving love. At this very moment, Bugsy is bursting with teenage Doberman energy and ready to share your home. Tennis balls are for chasing, squeaky toys are silly, and he likes to settle down with a nice bone. Kitties are his friends and is curious about squirrels and rabbits. Bugsy has perfected snowy romp-zoomies in his own goofy way. Over the past month, Bugsy has been housebroken, learned to do stairs, has learned basic commands like sit, lay down, come, kennel up, stay, wait, off, leave it, and gentle. He loves being with his people and learning about the world. He is one smart cookie and only wants to please. Someone at the door may deserve a bark, but he loves making a new friend. He will need a forever family that is patient, gentle yet firm, sets routines and boundaries, lots of playtime, and can provide him a supervised safe environment as he continues to learn the joy that is being a dog. Our foster families are generally located within a 250 mile radius of Minneapolis, MN. All DRM dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, health checked, microchipped, 4DX tested, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
