Keep calm and woof on.

Female Dog, Labrador Retriever
Labrador Retriever / Saint Bernard / Mixed (Short Coat)
Description:
Ariela found herself unwanted and on death row in a high kill shelter in West Texas. She loves humans, requires slow intros to other dogs, cats and little humans are unknown. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training. This sweet lady is the purest definition of companion. She thrives on cuddles, short walks, and gazing lovingly into her hoomans eyes. A true beauty inside and out. Ariela came to MN from TX at the end of January. She finally got to channel her inner polar bear when she got to experience a good zoomie session in the snow. She has decided MN is where it's at! Now, she just needs to find a family to complete her mission. Ariela is a big lap dog whose love language is physical touch. She is gentle and loves kids, however, because of her size, she should be supervised around small children. She is fully house trained and is lovely to walk on a leash. She enjoys carrying her stuffies around and despite ours being the only house she's ever lived in, she has never chewed on something that wasn't hers. Ariela will go into her crate for an extra yummy treat but does protest for a bit before settling. Although she doesn't seem to mind being around other dogs she does not like when they approach her. We are slowly exposing her to walks and positive interactions with other dogs. Currently, Ariela should go to a home where she is the only dog or to someone with experience in slow introductions and a calm, mature dog. Just wait til you meet this special girl! She will melt your heart! First priority will go to someone who lives in the twin cities metro in order to bring to a vet visit.
