Female Dog, Border Collie
Border Collie / Australian Kelpie / Mixed
Description:
Mitzi is a charming dog with a big personality who's ready to find her forever home. She’s both kennel and house-trained and has mastered the art of communication—she'll even ring a bell to let you know when she needs to go outside!Mitzi is a charming and energetic dog who’s ready to find her forever home! She’s housebroken with a bit of supervision and hasn’t had any accidents in the house or kennel. She loves playing with male dogs and gets along well with them, happily sharing her space, food, and treats. However, she would do best in a home without female dogs, as she prefers the company of the boys.Mitzi has a strong prey drive and will go over a 4ft fence if she spots something to chase, so a secure yard and a cat-free home are a must. She adores human attention and loves to play, though she’s still learning proper play manners and may use her teeth inappropriately at times. With a little guidance, she’ll quickly pick up on how to be a polite playmate. If you’re looking for a loyal and playful companion who will bring lots of joy and energy to your life, Mitzi might just be the perfect match for you! If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please submit an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about The Rescue Crew adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our Adoption Process page on our official website. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online adoption application here as well. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown.
