Female Dog, Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler

Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Border Collie / Mixed (Medium Coat)

Description:

Please contact Renee ([email protected]) for more information about this pet. Please visit our web site at https://tarasdream.org/adopt to fill out an adoption application for this pet and for more info about our adoption process. Stevie, Slinky and Stuart were born in a shed and raised with little human contact or enrichment. They are now in loving foster homes learning how to be a carefree puppy, cuddled, walked, fed regularly and often to put on some weight. We do know the mom is a heeler and dad is a border collie so experience with herding breeds is a plus if you are considering these pups for your family. They are smart, like to be kept busy or have a job, so training will be critical to their ongoing growth and happiness. Stevie is blooming every day being fostered with other canines and cats. She is a great explorer of her environment (inside and outside) and learning to trust and seek human attention. Stevie is not opposed to forced snuggling on the couch and loves head, ear and belly scratches. She sleeps through the night in a kennel near the humans – it’s tough going from a pile of siblings to sleeping by herself and she’ll happily tell you all about it. Car rides are new and a little scary right now. She will get the hang of it with more opportunities. Stevie will need patient, loving and fun humans to continue to teach her all the good things about puppy manners and living in a family. Approximate Birthdate: November 2024 Adoption Fee: $200 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.
