Archie’s journey hasn’t been an easy one, but this resilient boy is now on the mend and eager to find a family that will give him all the love he deserves. Archie was pulled from a high-kill shelter in California after being hit by a car. When we first rescued him, he showed some pain-related aggression due to his injuries. But since being away from the shelter and given the care he needed, he’s made a full recovery and hasn’t exhibited any of that behavior since. He’s a sweet, calm guy who is now ready to move forward and find a forever family! What Makes Archie Special: A Survivor: Archie’s resilience speaks volumes about his spirit. After being through so much, he’s come out the other side stronger, ready to trust, and full of love. Sweet & Affectionate: He’s a gentle giant who loves to be around people and enjoys his car rides. He’s calm and well-behaved, making him a perfect companion for your travels. Good with Other Dogs: Archie gets along well with both male and female dogs. He’s still learning about his new world, but he’s shown that he can coexist peacefully with other dogs and is always up for a play session or nap. Cat Testing This Week: We’re still getting to know Archie and will be testing him with cats this week, so stay tuned for updates! Archie is currently being fostered in Big Fork, MT, and once he’s neutered, he’ll be ready for adoption! He’s up to date on his vaccinations, but his neuter surgery is the final step before he can go home with his forever family. Archie is looking for a patient, loving home where he can continue to heal and thrive. He deserves a family who will provide him with the care, support, and love that will make him feel safe and cherished.
