Female Dog, Maltese

Maltese / Poodle (Toy) / Mixed (Medium Coat)

Description:

Meet Josie!! She’s a 15 week old, 6 lb female small breed mix. She’s whitish cream with tan on her ears. She came to us from a home that was breeding dogs and it got out of hand. Sweet Josie is young enough that it didn’t faze her whatsoever. The family is not even entirely sure what breeds they were breeding, but the home was said to have Shih Tzus. She has an underbite with curlier hair. Perhaps Maltese/Poodle is a good guess. She will stay small and adorable and need regular grooming, that much we know to be true. She is calm in the crate. She loves other dogs, loves humans, and is a typical puppy. She will need potty trained, leash trained, and basic puppy training. Josie has had an exam, been vaccinated while with us, microchipped, dewormed, and been groomed. She will be spayed soon. Her adoption donation fee is $475. Please apply directly on our website in the drop down menu https://havenanimalrescuenebraska.org PLEASE SUBMIT AN APPLICATION AT: https://havenanimalrescuenebraska.org/adoption-application We do not have a facility. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals. We are a state licensed, 501c3 nonprofit rescue and the adoption donation may be tax deductible for you. Thank you for choosing adoption!!
