Meet River, a 12-week-old Toy Poodle/Dachshune Mix! He was born on November 22, 2024 and is now ready for his forever home. This little guy isn’t just a puppy—he’s a professional 6 pound snuggler with a PhD in lap warming. If you sit down, consider yourself claimed! He will curl up in your neck like a tiny, furry scarf or sprawl out on your lap like he owns the place. ADOPTION DONATION: $450 includes alter when old enough, vaccinations up to date for age, microchip, wormer and on preventatives. *All dogs must be adopted for inside only! Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals.
