Description:
Henry is a senior White German Shepherd mix who was saved from death row at the last minute after being found abandoned and emaciated along a creek bed in Sacramento. He has had severe ear infections in both ears, likely for years, which went untreated and one eardrum has ruptured, which is being treated medically but might require surgery. He thrives on the company of other dogs. Henry is great in the car, gets along with cats and dogs of all sizes, walks nicely on a leash, and is just a gentle giant in spite of what was probably a lifetime of neglect. He weighs only 75 pounds currently but should probably be closer to around 100 pounds, he eats well and has already gained some weight back.
