With his scruffy brown fur, charming little beard, and long, leggy frame, Batman is impossible to resist. Though he weighs in at about 35 pounds, he’s the perfect sidekick size. Batman loves to play—whether it’s with his favorite toys or romping around with other dogs, his playful spirit shines through. But his favorite pastime is cuddling with his human. He’s also perfectly happy being the center of attention as an only dog. Housebroken and non-destructive, he’s a gentleman in the house and ready to settle in with a family who’s home a lot to give him all the love he deserves. Batman’s previous family had to make the tough decision to surrender him due to financial difficulties, but this loyal and lovable pup is ready for his next adventure. Could you be the hero he’s waiting for? All pets adopted from GDHS are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations brought up to date, are on heartworm preventative (dogs), FIV/FELV tested (cats) and microchipped. The Greater Derry Humane Society does not have a physical shelter, and all visits are by appointment only.
