Abba Gail is a beautiful purebred Cavalier King Charles whose owner has been moved to a nursing home. Abby has been in boarding while the family searched for a rescue or adopter. NorthStar heard about Abby's predicament and brought her into their rescue. Abby is 13 years old and weighs 22 pounds. - she is blind, mostly deaf and has weakness is her rear legs. She has a grade 4 out of 6 heart murmur and she must stay on vetmedin forever. She has arthritis and will also carprofen for the rest of her life. At her latest checkup, Abby was given medication for incontinence and her foster mom can see an improvement already. Abby eats, drinks and goes potty just fine. At her age she sleeps a lot. Abby is in a foster home with other dogs and she gets along well with them. This little lady is the sweetest dog and would be good for someone elderly, retired and home all the time.
