Description:
Meet Banana, a total sweetheart look’n for love! She’s super pawesome, so far her fosters in Texas and New Jersey have not found a flaw. We think she is a Min Pin/Terrier mix. She is an older gal at about 8 years old who weighs 20 pounds, a great size for snuggling which Banana loves! Banana gets along with both dogs and cats! She's a calm and easygoing gal who is house trained and crate trained. She is walked frequently as it's hard to tell when she wants attention or needs to go out. Banana walks well on a leash and is not reactive to other dogs. She’s a good listener and also quiet. She is super sweet and loves to cuddle with us or in her well constructed nest! You couldn't ask for a better dog than Banana - she's pretty much perfect! Banana lived with a woman who kept her crated 24/7 and eventually became homeless. She ended up living in a storage shed with no running water and realized she couldn’t take care of Banana. Banana was back in the crate up to 14 hours a day. A rescuer was able to convince her to give up Banana to NorthStar. Unfortunately, Banana left behind two other dogs and a cat that the original owner was unwilling to surrender. We are happy that Banana was able to leave that home behind but sad that the other animals with the owner are still living in a bad situation. If you'd like to bring Banana into your life, please fill out an adoption application at www.northstarpets.org and be sure to ask for her by name, BANANA TX! Her adoption fee is $250.
