Meet Rango! He and his 3 brothers ended up in our local shelter when their daddy lost his home. They were all so loved and their dad did not want to have to give them up, but he did the right thing to be sure they were cared for. You can tell Rango was loved because he is the sweetest boy and loves all people. He even spins for treats! Although he is 11 years old, Rango still has plenty of energy to run and bark at the yard guys when they invade "his yard"! His long, skinny legs still move pretty fast! Rango does well with other dogs of all sizes and with cats. He has not been around children but because he can get feisty sometimes, we think older kids would be fine. He loves to cuddle with his people and burrow under the covers. He's a friendly little boy who loves everyone he meets! Rango is had a dental procedure done on his mouth because he had a cracked tooth & he needed some extractions. He gets soft food in the morning, then he has dry kibble out for him all day. And he is happy when he earns a treat! Rango also has low grade luxating patellas, too (grade 1 out or 4). Otherwise, he is in good health. Rango has one funny little quirk - he sometimes will hump a dog bed. He can be testy if you try to stop him. If you leave it, he just goes about his business. Rango is 100% housebroken!
