Nikki was surrendered to the shelter after being found as a stray. Sometimes there is no story and we don't have one for Nikki. What we do see is a happy, loving dog who is eager to please. She is a Husky/Lab/Hound mix who is about a year and half old and 49 pounds. NOTE: This pet is being shared by NorthStar Pet Rescue on behalf of another organization and is not a NorthStar Pet Rescue dog. Nikki is a great walker on leash, great in the car and very smart. Nikki seems to have had some training because she knows touch and responds to a clicker. Her foster family reports that she is so very affectionate and loves her walks. A fenced in yard would be a plus for her!! Nikki has been very friendly with everyone she meets! She gets along with dogs of all sizes and is good with children, but she would prefer a cat-free home. Nikki really is such a nice girl and so deserving of a loving family of her own.
