Male Dog, Rat Terrier
Rat Terrier / Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler / Mixed (Short Coat)
Description:
This dog is part of our shelter outreach program where we take dogs from overcrowded shelters in hopes of finding them a forever home here! We generally do not have much background info on them and cannot guarantee they are housebroken. They are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped. This little cutie is a 9-month-old, 20 lb bundle of love who looks just like a mini cattle dog! He won’t get much bigger—maybe 25 lbs—but he’s already got a heart full of love to share. Isaiah is still learning his puppy manners and figuring out how to walk on a leash, so he’ll need a family ready to take him to obedience classes. He’s a bit shy at first, but once he warms up, you’ll have the sweetest cuddle buddy! With average exercise needs, Isaiah will thrive in a home with a fenced yard where he can safely play and explore. Quick movements seem to startle him so a calmer home with older kids would be better. If you’re looking for a loyal little companion who just needs a little patience and love, Isaiah is the perfect pup!*Per JSAC policy, puppies and kittens under 6 months will not be adopted to families with children under the age of 6 years.
