Female Dog, Boston Terrier

Boston Terrier / Beagle / Mixed

Description:

Susie – Your shadowQuote from foster family: Susie is the most lovable little dog. Receiving belly rubs and giving kisses are some of her specialties! Whether she’s cuddling with you on the couch or in the bed, following you around the house, going on walks or playing in the yard, she feels best when being by the side of her human.Woof-Facts Name: Susie Breed: Boston Terrier Beagle mix Weight: 25 lbs. Age: 2 years Gender: Female Health: Spayed and up to date on vaccinationsMore InfoForever home recommendations: Susie’s is looking for a home with a patient, caring and loving forever person(s) who is home often. One ideal situation is for her to be with someone who works from home, as Susie would be an excellent coworker, and would sleep nicely in her bed while her human is working close by. She is also OK being home on her own and/or with a canine companion.Susie can be a bit nervous at times, yet this has gotten much better as the days progress since she’s been in her foster home. Therefore, her forever human will need to be patient and help guide Susie along the way as she continues to acclimate to her newly rescued life and into her forever home.Susie previously lived in an apartment with multiple other dogs. The dogs were cared for by their humans, however, they never experienced the outside world. RHF rescued 5 of the dogs, and they are all in separate foster homes learning how to live their best life. We’re looking for a forever home who will give Susie her very best forever life. Kids: Home with older kids since a bit timid and fearfulDogs: Got along fine with the multiple dogs while living in her former home. Gets along with the other dog in her current foster home–they’re able to sleep together, walk together, and play in the yard together with no issues. Cats: Unknown?Crate trained: Doesn’t love the crate but does OK for short stays. Prefers to sleep either on the couch or in the bedHouse trained: Working on house training, making good progressLeash manners: Currently leash training and doing greatPersonality: Susie is such a sweetie pie, and a dog who truly loves human companionship. Sometimes she’ll follow the other dog around the house and mimic what he’s doing, but most often, she likes to shadow her human. She’s a great listener and attentively responds to the commands that’s she’s already learned. She enjoys various sorts of playtime—whether it’s catch, playing with toys with her human or canine companion, running in the yard or walking in the park. How did Susie find herself at Rescue Haven Foundation: RHF rescued Susia through a collaboration with a NYC shelter and a family-in-need. Interested in Susie?
