Meet Ruby! Ruby is a petite husky (she weighs just 33lbs) who is looking for her loving forever home. Ruby has luxated patellas on both of her back knees, and her previous owners called 911 to get rid of her one day as they were no longer willing to help with her disability, which led to her being brought to the ACC. Husky House pulled her upon hearing about this, as alumni Ripple and current adoptable Whopper both have the same condition and did great with surgery. She will need surgeries on both her back knees, one at a time, with time to heal between procedures. She can be adopted before she is done with her surgeries but will need to be on crate rest for 8-12 weeks after each surgery. Ruby is a very sweet, affectionate pup who loves people and other dogs.
