MELO - Just Looking For A Nice Home Age: 11 Years Sex: Male Size: Large Good With Dogs: Yes Good With Cats: Unknown Good With Children: Yes Melo lived his whole life in a home with a family and friends. Sadly, his owner was unable to provide a home for Melo when they moved. Melo is a friendly dog that still has a lot of life and pep in his step. He is healthy (though has some seasonal allergies) and very active. Melo loves to go on walks and even at his age still pulls a bit on the leash on his walks. Melo would be comfortable in most home settings. He has been around other dogs and seems like he probably could live with another well mannered dog. For the most part, he’d rather just hang out with people and ignore other dogs. Originally surrendered to Perth Amboy Animal Shelter, who took good care of this boy, Melo is now with Sedona Shepherd. Sedona Shepherd Sanctuary's mission is to rescue adult and senior German Shepherd and Shepherd mixes and find them loving homes. All of our dogs are fully vetted and up to date on all their shots Our adoption area includes New Jersey, Delaware Valley, Manhattan, Southern New York and Eastern Pennsylvania.
