Lucky was found a little over two weeks ago, dumped in a park in Neptune, covered in wounds and fleas and, very underweight. We took her to the vet where she was stitched, cleaned and, was put on antibiotics, pain meds and treated for the fleas. We suspect Lucky was used for breeding and as a bait dog. Fast-forward to now, and Lucky is a happy little pup. She is friendly, loving, and playful. Honestly, she must have been crated her whole existence, as everything is brand new to her. Our trainer has started working with her and says, "She doesn't have a mean bone in her body." If we didn't have three alpha dogs, she would be added to our pack.
