Boxer / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Hi there! I’m Yogurt! I’m a sweet and playful 3-4-year-old boxer mix, weighing in at a lovable 60 pounds. I’m super, super friendly, and I love other dogs, so if you have a furry friend at home, I’d love to meet them! Right now, I’m waiting at a shelter in Tennessee, but it’s getting crowded because of all the dogs displaced by Hurricane Helene. Each day, more pups like me are hoping for a spot here, and it’s getting harder for everyone to find room. I came in a stray, and nobody has come for me. If you’re looking to open your heart and home to a new best friend, please consider fostering or adopting me. When you bring me home, you’ll also make space for other dogs who are still waiting for help. You can apply at www.peace4paws.org/adoption-application I can’t wait to meet you! Let’s make room for more friends in need.If you have specific adoption or foster questions, please email: [email protected] THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN RESCUING A DOG! U.S. shelter and adoption estimates 2012 3,500—Number of animal shelters • 6-8 million—Number of cats and dogs entering shelters each year 25 percent—Percentage of purebred dogs in shelters • 3-4 million—Number cats and dogs adopted from shelters each year 2.7 million—Number of adoptable cats and dogs euthanized in shelters each year 25% of dogs in shelters are pure bred - that's 1 in 4!
