Elphie is a sweet American Bulldog mix who is 10 months old and weighs 30 pounds. She will not grow much more. Found alone and dirty on the side of a busy highway, she was rescued from a high-kill shelter and is now discovering all the joys of being a beloved pet. Despite her rough start, she is putting on weight and leaving behind her difficult first year of life.This wiggly and happy puppy is very affectionate and sweet. She loves to curl up on the couch to cuddle, sleep, or chew on a fluffy toy next to her person. Elphie has a calmer demeanor for her age but still has some puppy energy. She is shy but is learning to go on walks and gaining confidence every day.Elphie is great with other dogs and good with children. She knows how to sit, is crate trained, and is making great progress with house training. If you’re looking for a loyal and loving companion, Elphie is ready to be someone’s best buddy.
