Border Terrier / Terrier / Mixed

Description:

Meet Reggie! Reggie is a 3-year-old, scruffy terrier mix who weighs 11 pounds. This sweet and playful pup is house and crate trained, loves going for walks, and is ready to bring so much joy to your life. He loves to play and run in the backyard, often getting the zoomies and delighting in squeaky toys. Reggie is fine playing with toys on his own but also loves interacting with his people. Reggie is nervous in the car but learning it's not so scary - he gets better with every trip!Reggie is great with other dogs and has a special respect for senior dogs, giving them the space they need. He is not fond of kitties though, so he needs a home without them or other small animals. He’s incredibly cuddly, loves giving kisses, and thrives on attention. Rescued from a local shelter where he was very overwhelmed, Reggie has transformed into a happy, confident companion. He has learned "sit" and is working on "down."He would do best in a home with an owner with terrier / dog experience. He does great with structure, but he needs time to settle and trust when he first goes in to a new situation. It will take him a day or 2 to feel safe. He’s super smart, quickly learns routines, and would do amazing with any sort of training as he catches on so fast and is very in tune with his people. He will bring so much energy, love, and fun to your home. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate dog who loves to play, snuggle, and learn, Reggie is your guy!
