Description:
Hi! My name is Serena and me and my friend Samantha are both looking for forever homes. We were picked up running together by Animal Control and taken to a really scary place called a shelter. After our hold time was up and no one came to claim us, we both ended up on something bad called "the list"; then we found out that BCAA heard about us and said they would help us both ... yeah! While we are not looking for a home together and are not bonded, if you are looking for a couple of girls to join your family we get along great and even share a crate together. I appear to be a slender chihuahua mix and at 1yo and 9.5lbs, I am as big as I'm going to get; Samantha appears to be what is known as a "chug"...part chihuahua and part pug (see that curly cue of a tail?) and at 13.5lbs at around 3yo, won't get any bigger either. My foster mom says while we are a little shy when first meeting new people, we respond well to TLC and love getting attention from her. We have both done well with all of the other small/medium dogs we have met and haven't bothered those things called cats. Both of us have done well in the crate we share together eating side-by-side without incident; we also haven't had any accidents, are not barkers and haven't torn up any bedding. We are both pretty good on leash and enjoy going for walks and exploring. If you would like to meet me or Samantha, or even both of us, please fill out an application which can be found at http://www.bcaaofnj.org.Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application! PLEASE NOTE: Our adoption fee helps to cover our expenses and includes all shots, *age appropriate*, distemper and rabies, fecal check, spay/neuter, heartworm test, grooming, and in many cases dental and also the fee we pay when we rescue from a shelter.
